Vice Presidency
When I was 39, I was selected by the Republican party nominee General Dwight D. Eisenhower to be the Vice Presidential of the Republican National Convention in July 1952. In September, the New York Post published an article claiming that campaign donors were buying influence with me sharing a secret with him with about the cash fund for my personal expenses. This really frustrated me, so I'm deciding to post it on my blog.

House of Representatives
After World War II ended, a group of Whittier Republicans approached me about running for a seat in the United States House of Representatives. I accepted their offer, and waged a campaign which ended in a victory. After that, I represented southern California's 12th Congressional district for the next four years. I helped finance the campaign with my World War II poker winnings.

War
I think I'm a pretty good president. Sometimes I think that no matter how good of a president I am, the people will never like me. For example, The Vietnam War. Fine, so I kind of made a conflict with a few neighboring countries. I make one mistake and everybody starts complaining. So what? I recently compromised a ceasefire with North Vietnam. If I didn't do that, America would still be involved in the war!
About Me
Hi, my name is Richard Nixon. I was born on January 9, 1913. Right now I am the president of the United States of America. I am the 37th president. I've been elected twice for the president and the vice president. I'm really proud. I was born in Yorba Linda, California. I graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1937. I actually was in the US Navy. I was ranked as the Lieutenant Commander during World War II. I was elected in 1946 as a Republican of the House of Representatives representing California's 12th Congressional district. I was one of the youngest vice president in united states history.
